DFW Family Portraits

DFW Family PortraitsOld Town Lewisville is one of my favorite locations. It has a manicured park setting as well as historic Texas main street buildings. You really get the best of both worlds! It is a great way to capture a large variety of images within a short time frame. The versatility is wonderful. Not only is it perfect for families, it also is wonderful for senior portraits. The variety of architecture offers so many options. The images on the blog were all taken at Old Town! Each collage has a unique style and vibrancy.

These images were take at Wayne Ferguson Plaza which features a unique boardwalk and wildflower gardens nestled between stone paths.
These photos were taken in the field of the plaza. It is used for vendor fairs as well as community concerts. It also a great place to throw a blanket to snap casual family photos.

These photos were taken along the shops on Main Street Lewisville. The stone sidewalk and brick buildings provide so much character and rustic Texas charm.

I love how Lewisville has revived Old Town. There are so many wonderful and free community events from First Fridays to a Monarch Butterfly Festival. Every event I have been to has been well planned, organized, clean, and friendly! My kids enjoy it very much! Not to mention the food and shopping are great! After your session check out one of these places:

The Perc Coffeehouse offers unique coffee and tea concoctions along with yummy sweets and savories.

Main Street Mercantile has an entrance from the Perc Coffeehouse. After your refreshments, head over to the “Merc” for unique “Magnolia” style shopping.

These are some of my personal favorites. They offer small business local shopping experiences. Support small businesses is something I enjoy and value! Check them out when you are in town.
