An Evening at Texas Tulips | North Dallas Family Photographer

Tiptoe Through the Tulips
Tiptoe through the window
By the window, that is where I’ll be
Come tiptoe through the tulips with me
Oh, tiptoe from the garden
By the garden of the willow tree
And tiptoe through the tulips with me
Knee deep in flowers we’ll stray
We’ll keep the showers away
And if I kiss you in the garden, in the moonlight
Will you pardon me?
And tiptoe through the tulips with me
Maybe it’s flowers you stray will be the showers of life
And when I kiss you in the garden in the moonlight
Will you pardon me and tiptoe through the tulips with me?

Over the past couple of years I have seen beautiful photographs of Texas, Tulips. Last year I had intentions to make the journey to Pilot Point, but weather and my schedule did not cooperate. This year, I was determined to visit this enamored place!

The tulips were very beautiful with rows of different colors blooming to create a rainbow view! Throughout the farm, the tulips were in various stages of blooming, so there was a variety of options for photography.

We made the visit during spring break, which I will not do again! Although we arrived at 6pm it was still very busy and had a line of people waiting to enter. The crowds did not diminish throughout the evening, so it was quite a photography challenge to dodge people. Also, it is an open field, so the sun beams down on the subjects up until about 20 minutes before sunset. Despite these “obstacles” I still captured beautiful images!
