Bridal Portraits Mandalay Canal– I enjoyed this styled bridal portrait session so much! I was lucky enjoy to get my hands on this stunning bridal dress. The dress is actually traveling through all parts of Texas. The layers of tulle and fitted bodice compliment all body types. My model felt like she was a princess, and she received so many compliments!
Our location for the portraits is a magical place tucked away in Las Colinas, Irving. The canal is below street level between tall office buildings and parking garages with old world architecture. It feels like stepping into a Tuscan village. The iron metal work, stone walls, and cobblestone sidewalk create a sophisticated atmosphere.
Mandalay Canals are a great spot for all seasons, as the architecture is the main attraction. It is best to photograph there a couple hours after sunrise, or a couple hours before sunset. The tall buildings block sunlight earlier than ground level locations.

The Canal is such an elegant atmosphere, I have used it for family photos, senior photos, as well as child photography! Pair this location with a formal classic wardrobe. Evening gowns, suits, bow ties, and frilly dresses will create the magic here!
