The White Sparrow Barn
The White Sparrow Barn Wedding and Event Venue
Over the summer I photographed a styled shoot at The White Sparrow Barn. It’s a gorgeous white washed barn that is elegantly rustic. It had beautiful light on a nice summer day. Fall portrait season started a bit early this year, so I pushed these photos to the back burner. I am excited to share the images from this day! A team of talented vendors made this event possible! Be sure to check them out for your event needs.

Thinking of finding the perfect wedding venue? Here are some aspects to consider from a photography stand point. Natural light is key! Lots of beautifully placed windows will help your event have luminous natural lighting. Placement of windows is key as well! Frosted windows behind the ceremony alter are far better than clear glass! The reception hall should have plenty of lighting both natural and artificial. Consider the floor plan of the event venue. Is it conveniently laid out for the bride and groom suites to remain hidden and private? Do the bridal and groom suites have windows? How large or small are the suites. If your bridal party is large, make sure you have enough room! A bridal suite without windows is not the end of the world, however, windows do add a lovely glow! The outdoor landscaping is another aspect to consider. Are there plenty of trees and architecture to create beautiful portraits? Also, the color schemes and architectural style of the venue is key. Put all of these factors together, and find the best location that suites your style.
