Senior Photography In Highland Park Dallas

Senior Photography in Highland Park is always one of my favorites. I photographed this beautiful high school senior in Highland Park Dallas. We had to reschedule the original date due to rain, and the new date turned out to be a wonderful December afternoon with beautiful sun.

We planned the portrait session for two locations: Highland Park Village and Prather Park in Dallas. Highland Park Village is an open air historic shopping center with boutique and designer shops. It has pristine architecture and delicate landscaping. The historic buildings have unique designs that photograph so wonderfully. There are several store fronts that I love incorporating in portraits. They have such great character.

A quick five minute drive from Highland Park Village are Prather and Davis Parks, that are nestled in a grand Highland Park neighborhood. The two parks are divided by a small side street. Prather and Davis park have beautiful ivy covering the grounds along with grand mature trees providing a nice canopy of shade. Elegant stone pathways, stairs, and bridges lead to beautiful scenery. It feels as if you have entered an enchanted forest.

At senior portrait sessions, I encourage at least two to three outfits. A formal dress, a fun casual outfit, and a hobby/ college outfit always create a variety of images. Professional hair and makeup are an important detail that helps bring out the best. This senior used Jennifer Serra Beauty Team. Additionally, manicured nails add a polished touch.
