Flower Mound Child Photography – Wildflowers in the Spring

I am jumping back to spring to share these images I captured of my children! It’s hard to believe that this was just a few months ago when my baby was about four weeks old! It was such a sweet time to photograph my baby- it was spring with flowers blooming. What a perfect representation of new life! Our family had just welcomed a beautiful new baby into our lives while the grounds around us were sprouting with vibrant colors. Spring is such a perfect time to have a baby! The outdoors represent the joy in my heart!

We took advantage of the bluebonnets and other wildflowers growing close to our home on The Flower Mound. It was during Holy Week, so the crosses were up at the top of the hill, a tradition that is carried on every year. They’re such a reminder of the reason for Easter. All who drive by can see them towering over the hill. Many families in the town make a visit to the crosses each year. It’s really something special.

Spring is my favorite season for photography. There are so many gorgeous colors sprouting up at every glance. Take a look at previous spring portraits. It’s so refreshing after a monotone winter, and a reprieve before the heat of summer arrives!
