Fall Family Portraits at Murrell Park
Capturing family portraits is a wonderful way to commemorate special moments in the life of a family. In the case of this particular family, with three successful daughters embarking on different paths in adulthood, family portraits served as a beautiful symbol of this transitional period. It’s a way to freeze a moment in time before each daughter ventures into their future endeavors.
Golden Hour in the AM or PM
The golden hour, also known as magic hour, is a period shortly after sunrise or before sunset during which the light is softer and warmer, creating a beautiful and flattering illumination for portraits. I often seek these timeframes to achieve stunning shots.
Flower Mound Location
I chose Murrell Park in Flower Mound for our morning portrait session. It was a new area that I decided to use with a beautiful area of tall wispy grass and enchanted trees towering above. Sun rays shone through the leaves creating a lovely golden tone. Far in the distance, Grapevine Lake sparkled under the sun. Murrell Park is one of my favorite locations due to the endless possibilities for portrait scenery. Nature trails lined with trees are stunning. Large open grassy fields provide a lovely scene with the vibrant open sky above. Canopied areas surrounded by trees create a magical setting. Lake front views offer stunning sunsets and gorgeous vistas.
