Southlake Family Photographer – Summer Nights in Historic Grapevine – Main Street Grapevine Historic District

This family of five wanted the classic red brick style at Main Street Grapevine, along with the greenery and rustic features of the area. In a short distance there are always many options for portraits. I like to start at the classic archway at city hall. Then we use the white pillars followed by the city lights in the background blur. Next I like to walk around the corner where there is lush ivy and beautiful sunlight. Take a walk across the street, and the back of the log cabin as well as the brick walls of Messina Hoff Winery are also wonderful features in portraits.

This family paired their wardrobe wonderfully. My personal favorite is blue, and they pulled it off so well! Notice they used different shades of blue along with complimentary yellow tones. Each family member was comfortable and happy to wear their outfit. That is really an important part of a successful session, because it helps bring out the person’s genuine personality. In addition, I could not be happier about their clothing choices as they fit well with the different areas of Main Street.
