This fall I scheduled mini sessions on designated dates, and focused on providing full session options for clients who desired more time and more images. Throughout October and November, I photographed many families in a variety of locations. This blog highlights the places I most frequently use.
Stone Creek Park is located in the heart of Flower Mound. It is an extremely popular location among photographers. Its unique setting creates scenery that is rare in Texas! Because of the popularity, I hold sessions on weekdays and non-holidays. Otherwise, it is nearly impossible to have a stress free session.
Heritage Park is another favorite of mine. It has many trees and walking paths that offer a multitude of locations to use. It is beautiful through the seasons. The city has protected sections of the park for wildflower growth! Last summer, there were many beautiful black eyed Susans.
Highland Park offers a lush green setting with stone bridges and stairs. It feels as if one has traveled to a fairy tale land. This location is beautiful every time of the year!
Green Acres Farm Memorial Park was the most utilized location this year. I held mini sessions here. Many clients like this location because they like the white fence and the open land. View more of this location.
Grapevine Botanic Gardens are beautiful quaint gardens tucked away in the middle of Grapevine. The city recently remodeled the area, which has included many visual enhancements. The variety of plants throughout the seasons make this location ideal for many types of photography. There are several sections in the park, which allows us to create a variety of styles.
Grapevine Springs Park in Coppell is another wonderful location, because it is expansive! There are bridges, stone walls, walking paths, a large field, as well as the Senior Center which has manicured greenery. The sunset here is phenomenal, creating magical golden light!
Lastly, your home is a great place for photos! Some clients want their photos captured at home! This family was celebrating their first Christmas in their newly constructed house. It was a perfect reason for me to come to them for family photos.
