Photos with Santa Plano Tx, The Lumen Room– Our tradition of photos with Santa finally arrived! We had a chance to visit Santa “Pappy” Claus. He is so wonderful and kind with the kids. He knows exactly what to say to them. He tells them to blow on his thumb to see if they are naughty or nice. His thumb glows red for good children. He whispers a prayer in their ear. He tells them to whisper in his ear. Also, he says “Close your eyes and make a wish,” while he hugs the child. Also he has children pinky promise to hear the secret to many presents…. to clean their room! A dirty room has no place for new toys! This Santa doesn’t make strange “ho ho ho” laughs or pat his belly. He is sincere and kind. He makes every visit memorable. Time with him is so special, my children remember him from the last year. It’s a tradition I really don’t want to end.
Santa Pappy Claus is so amazing with children, and he also works well with professional photographers. He knows how to pose and have natural interactions that create the most magical images!
After our time with Santa finished, we used other locations in the studio to take portraits. The tan couch, the green velvet chair, and the bed were great props. I managed to capture all of these images in just 30 minutes, which kept my kids’ attention.
The Plano Lumen Room is a clean crisp white with glossy floors. There are many pieces of furniture as well as mobile backdrops. The front entrance greets visitors with white washed brick walls. The character of the space is really wonderful and different from The Lumen Rooms in Dallas and Ft. Worth.

The Red Room has red brick walls and honey wood floors. This maternity couple chose the studio due to poor weather.
The White Room is wonderful with white wooden floors, white brick, and a wall of windows. This session featured beauty portraits to celebrate a 40th birthday!
