Wildflower Photographer Richardson TX

Wildflower Photographer Richardson TX – Jennifer Carley Photography, In Texas the saying, “April showers bring May flowers,” is so true! The spring rain provides nourishment for the seeds waiting to sprout and grow into lovely flowers that paint the highways and open areas. As a native Floridian, the seasons did not strongly distinguish between fall, winter, spring, and summer. The year mostly represented spring or summer, therefore flowers were always blooming in Florida! It was always lush and green. Living in the Dallas area, the seasons are more distinct, yet still mild compared to the north! Yet, there is enough contrast from one season to the next for this true southerner to appreciate the beauty of seasons. Well, I could leave out winter. It is pretty drab!

Hello from Jennifer!

Being a photographer- I am usually the one taking the photos. I always try to capture a few photos of myself with my children throughout the year! Moms should always be in the photos, even if it makes you feel uncomfortable. Your children will cherish these images one day!

Clothing Options for Wildflowers

With many brick and mortar stores closed, we must get creative with shopping for clothing! Amazon is a great option, especially because returns are SO easy and convenient!

My overall tips for wildflower portraits is to prepare for nature! I suggest wearing closed toed shoes. Boots are a great option, especially since we are in Texas! Bring bug spray. After all we are entering the insect’s territory! Some girls wear leggings under long dresses, while others may wear a shorter dress paired with boots. The best wardrobe advice is to dress so you feel comfortable. Being comfortable or Uncomfortable will reflect in your images.
