Southlake Child Family Photographer – Murrell Park
Southlake Child family Photographer at Murrell Park on Lake Grapevine – After several years of photography, I finally realized that aside from spring, October is my favorite month for photography. On most days, the weather in October is wonderful- not too hot or cold – it’s the perfect mix of cool, crisp air. The trees and grass still have color. Clear blue skies and wispy clouds decorate above. These conditions create a wonderfully magical environment for outdoor adventures and pictures. Golden light from the sun and the colors in nature create a beautiful golden glow.
“How beautifully leaves grow old. How full of light and color are their last days.” – John Burroughs

Before the day light savings changes, fall portraits can be taken in the morning or evening. Early risers can have photos taken between 7:30am-9:30am. Evening photos are perfect from 5pm – 6:30pm. Once November 1 arrives, evening sessions start in late afternoon around 4pm, since the sun sets as early as 5:30pm. The portraits featured on this blog were captured in the morning before the sun lifted above the tree line. Beams of sunlight streaming through the trees helped create the beautiful golden glow.
