Dallas Fort Worth Senior Portraits, Marcus High School Senior

It was so fun to photograph Hannah who just graduated from high school! She is water polo athlete and plans to continue to play at Texas Tech! This is so impressive, as the sport requires such endurance and skill! What an inspiring example of determination and focus!

Senior Portraits at Murrell Park
Hannah chose Murrell Park for senior portraits. This spring has had an abundance of rain, which resulted in a beautifully green park! In fact, it rained so much we did have to reschedule the session date! It was so stunning and beautiful! The golden sunlight provided such a wonderful glow during our sunset session.

Preparing for Senior Portraits
Planning a location and wardrobe for senior portraits is such a wonderful time! I suggest that seniors choose several types of outfits including casual, formal, fun, and college related. This helps the senior portray their unique personality and interests!

Hair and Makeup
It is a great idea to plan ahead about hair, makeup, and nails. Plan to have your nails done the day before. If you decide to do a spray tan, please do that two days in advance to allow the color to settle. Book hair and makeup with a trusted stylist, or you can choose to do your own. I recommend going a little more heavy on the makeup, so it will photograph well.
Accessories
Gather accessories such as jewelry, jackets, shoes, and hats ahead of time. Iron your cap and gown. Collect all of the accessories and put them in a bag ready to go on the day of pictures. Also, make sure to hang and iron all outfits and plan the accessories for each. You’ll be ready to go on the day of!
