Family members from across the country gathered in Dallas for Memorial Day weekend! They made sure to capture updated, extended family portraits. It’s always wise to do this when family from near and far is together! Since the weather warms up fast this time of year, we opted for morning photos in a lovely shaded garden in Grapevine. The quaint Grapevine Botanic Gardens is a beautiful place for spring portraits. Hybiscus florals are in full bloom, the trees are flourishing with leaves, and butterflies are plentiful! It’s such a delightful place to visit! The shade offers a reprieve from the sun. Also, the tree canopies provide shelter if the weather starts to sprinkle, like it did in these photos!

The Grapevine Botanic Gardens offer a convenient location for portraits. It is nestled in the heart of Grapevine, close to Main Street, and a short drive from the interstate. The centrality makes it an easy location to access, whether traveling from the Fort Worth or Dallas area of the metroplex. After pictures are finished, head to Main Street for dinner at one of the great restaurants or grab ice cream at Kilwins.
