Rockledge Park Proposal: Scenic Engagement Session on Grapevine Lake
Surprisingly, Rockledge Park’s stunning secluded location is nestled between two Dallas suburbs, Flower Mound and Grapevine, on Grapevine Lake just before the dam. The views offer vibrant sunsets that attract couples, as well as campers, families, and hikers to name a few. This is exactly the type of location Chad was wanting for his proposal to his beloved. I was so excited to photograph the proposal for him as it would be my first time photographing a proposal at beautiful Rockledge Park.
Secluded Proposal Location in Dallas
On New Year’s Day, as the sun slowly dipped closer to the horizon, I patiently and inconspicuously waited for Chad and Kathryn to stroll to the shore. Since they were visiting the area from Tuscaloosa, Alabama the goal was to sight see this beautiful secluded location in the Dallas area. As I watched the two walk to the shore, it was my cue to capture their special moment- the proposal!
Praying Over His Future Wife
After Kathryn accepted his proposal with elation, Chad, prayed over them. A prayerful marriage is set up to face life’s joys and challenges. What a beautiful practice to incorporate into a relationship.
