Fort Worth Botanic Garden Proposal
Fort Worth Botanic Garden Proposal in the Rose Garden
When Sam contacted me about scheduling a proposal at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden I was so excited! He decided the Rose Garden was the best spot, which I agreed. It is nestled on the far end of the gardens, making its location secluded and lovely. We agreed to arrive at 9am in hopes of avoiding crowds. Being that it was July, the garden was still quiet at that time. It was such a beautiful morning with a peaceful visit. Once I arrived at the Rose Garden, Sam knew what to look for and that was his cue! I was ready. He kneeled on one knee and asked his girlfriend, Lilly to be his bride! What a wonderful moment for these two! They’ve been together for about three years and met at Texas Tech. In fact, they had driven from Lubbock to visit the Dallas area that weekend!

Engagement Portraits at the Gardens
There are so many stunning spots throughout! The greenery was so lovely. The possibilities of photos were endless! Since it was the weekend, more visitors started to arrive, so made sure to pick out favorite spots with minimal distractions.

Fort Worth Gardens Etiquette
Fort Worth Botanic Garden welcomes photography and fun things like proposals! They do charge a $30 photography fee with the agreement to not block pathways and to respect the property by not picking flowers as well as not leaving props or evidence of a photo shoot behind.
