Engagement Portraits Klyde Warren Park in Dallas were so much fun! Meet Abin and Naomi, a physician and an attorney. Abin contacted me in advance to explain his desire to capture his marriage proposal. Of course I said it was a great idea! I waited at our location for the couple walk through the tree tunnel. When I saw them approach, I stepped into position to capture the special moment when “Will you marry me” would be asked. After a short time, it happened! Abin kneeled and asked her to be his wife. It was such an incredible moment. Little did Naomi know, her family was secretly observing a few steps away from them! When she noticed her family, her reaction was priceless! It was the happiest day of her life, and her family was there to witness it. Family members arrived from Houston and Florida to see this moment happen! It was such a happy reunion.
Klyde Warren Park is a beautiful location to photograph couples. The arched lights provide a romantic glow during the day and night! To enjoy the park to its fullest, morning is the best as the crowds are smaller. There are more opportunities to capture skyline photos as well as discover other areas of the urban park. This park is incredible because it is nestled over a highway next to Dallas skyscrapers. This patch of green space is a wonderful addition to this urban hot spot that attracts food trucks, local dog walkers, and outdoor fitness fanatics. It has an incredible energy that will reflect in your portraits.
