Dallas Twin High School Senior Portraits
Life is like college; may I graduate and earn some honors.
Louisa May Alcott
It was my first time to photograph twin high school graduates! These two high school seniors are excited to wrap up high school and start their journey at Oklahoma University! I think it is really cool that both of them are going to the same university!
This senior session was photographed at Old Town Lewisville. I thought it would be a great location for these fraternal twins, because it has a nice variety of scenery from wispy wildflowers to masculine architecture. The multiple options made it perfect for capturing unique portraits for each senior. The wildflowers and boardwalk were a great feature for the senior girl. Then I walked across the street to Lewisville Grand Theater to photograph the boy senior. The theater has white pillars, brick architecture, and a modern staircase that provided an excellent backdrop.

Old Town Lewisville is a unique area to photograph high school seniors and families. There are three main sections that I love to use. Within a very small radius, we can create a variety of portraits with a modern and traditional flair.
Wayne Ferguson Plaza
First, Wayne Ferguson Plaza is an urban park located off of Church Street across from Lewisville City Hall. The plaza has a wooden boardwalk and a narrow canal water feature. The walkways are manicured with seasonal greenery with wildflowers during the spring and summer. There is a treelined walkway with redbud trees that have purple blooms that then create red leaves, that will turn green. Next to the boardwalk is the open green the city uses for festivals.
Lewisville Grand Theater
Across the street from the plaza is The Grande Theatre. It has traditional columns and architectural features that photograph very well. I especially enjoy using the white columns as well as the stairs.
Main Street
Just a quick walk over to Main Street, you will find a historic downtown with a brick paved street and rustic brick buildings. The colorful awnings and intricate doorways and window treatments offer an entirely different look from modern Wayne Ferguson Plaza.
