Bluebonnets on the Lake Dallas Photographer

Bluebonnets blanket the hilly shore along Lake Grapevine. Once exiting a short hike through the woods, bluebonnets are immediately a stunning sight to behold. The like glistens like gems sparkling in the sun light. The flowers dance as the wind caresses the shore.

I was delighted to photograph a long time friend! We have known each other since our oldest children were in preschool and elementary. Now we are celebrating high school graduation and college acceptance. While I was always a little annoyed that my parents said, “time flies.” now I wholeheartedly agree!

The proud graduate of Coram Deo Academy is excited to enter Abilene Christian University next year.

Bluebonnet Portraits

The lake is such a fun place for photography year around, but when bluebonnets line the shore, it becomes a wonderland! So spectacular and impressive. As one exists the trail and crosses into the open air, the lovely aroma of flowers fills the air. When I arrived, I quickly headed to my favorite spot with the fallen tree. It is a perfect spot to capture sunset, and it provides many posing options.
