Frisco Senior Photographer at Frisco Square

At every portrait session, I work to make the experience unique to the client. This senior requested an urban setting. She likes clean modern lines and primary colors. We went with Frisco Square. It is conveniently located and isn’t too crowded even on Saturday evenings! We found lots of variety with different colored doors as well as fun furniture like the yellow chair!

Senior Locations Many seniors have an idea of the style they want for their portraits. I have a variety of recommendations for locations all over the metroplex. Popular locations are The Dallas Arboretum and Highland Park. Boys enjoy Downtown Grapevine and Old Town Lewisville. There are so many great locations.

How long are senior portrait sessions? Senior sessions last about one hour or up to ninety minutes. It is a great time to plan several outfits from casual to formal to capture the senior’s style and interests. Some seniors bring props for their sport or hobby and have worn college shirts, too. It’s an opportunity to really capture the special time in the senior’s life!

When is it a good time to schedule senior portraits? I start receiving inquiries during the summer to book sessions that take place in the fall. Generally, fall is the best time for portraits. It allows plenty of time to plan the session and order graduation announcements. Also, the weather is more mild, yet not too hot or too cold! Spring is also a great time, but make sure to plan for March or April. May is cutting it too close to graduation and parties. If we are photographing in the winter, urban settings are usually the best places with the exception of Davis Park in Dallas.
