Dallas Arboretum Photography in Spring
Spring is one of the best times to have portraits taken at the picturesque Dallas Arboretum and Botanic Garden. It features a plethora of beautiful flowers like tulips and daffodils that only bloom for about four to six weeks in North Texas. There are a myriad of colors to choose from for your portraits. Walking from one garden to the next reminds me of an enchanted fairy tale. It’s such a wonderful place to visit.
For elegant and classic pictures, it is best to dress up for portraits at the arboretum. Women and girls photograph wonderfully in dresses. Men and boys should wear a suit, sports coat, or dress pants with pressed shirts. A formal wardrobe will elevate your portrait experience and create breathtaking heirloom products.
When planning your portraits at the arboretum, I reserve the tickets for your party. My membership pass allows me to take five guests into the gardens. It also includes free parking. Parties larger than five will need to pay for additional tickets, however, I can still make the reservations. The best time to take portraits at the arboretum is when it first opens at 9am. This is when crowds are smaller and lighting is most complimentary.
