Wildflower pictures are a Texas tradition. When I moved to Texas almost twenty years ago, a friend of mine told me all about the beautiful wildflowers that grow every spring! I didn't understand the magnitude of their beauty until I saw them for myself! Year after year, I return to them! The varieties are plentiful, yet the locations are sparse. It takes persistence in scouting to discover the BEST places for wildflower photography.

Texas Tulips DFW Photographer Driving north to Texas Tulips has been a tradition for us, but we missed the past two years! At the very last minute, I told the girls to get ready! Rain was forecast for the foreseeable future, so it was now or never! I am so glad we hustled. The fields were absolutely stunning, the best I have seen in a while! To make it even more wonderful, my little boy was enamored by the open fields and flowers that were as tall as him! Carrying the basket was his favorite as the tulips didn’t impress him too much!
