The saying goes, as soon as you “figure out” your baby’s habits and patterns, they grow and change. Then the process starts all over again! It’s truly amazing and miraculous to observe babies develop rapidly in such a short time span! Before you know it, you have done a load of laundry, and their clean clothes no longer fit!

Capture the Sweet Spot

There are times you don’t want to miss, wanting to freeze frame them for ever. When your baby learns to sit without support is one of them! This is the perfect time to schedule milestone portraits. It’s the sweet spot when your baby is strong enough to sit up without support, yet it is not when baby has learned to crawl! When crawling starts, the game plan changes! With most babies, sitting happens between six and seven months. That’s the perfect time to capture their new phase!

It’s the best time to take sitting and laying down pictures, because the baby is not mobile! Give them a sweet vintage toy to play with, and you’ll have some darling portraits.

Studio or Outdoors

Both places are excellent options. Weather and temperature are the main factors to consider. If it is during the winter months, a studio would be the best choice. If it is a warm season, then outdoors can be lovely! There are wonderful locations for outdoor portraits for babies. View a session located in Grapevine and one in Old Town Lewisville.
