Highland Park Senior Portraits – Homecoming Queen and Drum Major!
I was delighted to photograph sweet Tatum at Davis Park in Highland Park. Tatum was such a sweetheart with so much talent! Not only is she the drum major for Timber Creek High School marching band, but she is also homecoming queen! What an exciting combination! She said she felt so humbled and surprised to receive the honor. It truly shows her down to earth character.

Highland Park is a Favorite Photography Location
As a Dallas Senior Photographer, Davis Park is one of my favorite locations for photography. It is sophisticated and unique to the Dallas Fort Worth area. The park is known for stonework bridges, pathways, and staircases all lined with ivy and towering trees. A creek meanders below and sparkles in the sunlight. The area emits a fantasy enchanted forest atmosphere, with the endless options for photography scenery. Davis Park works well with my sophisticated photography style that evokes poise and elegance.

Seasons for Senior Portraits in Dallas, Texas
Many inquiries ask what time of year is best for senior photo sessions. My response is always fall or spring. Depending on the graduation timing, spring is a great option if you desire fresh flowers and vibrant greenery as part of the photo backdrop. Alternatively, fall offers warm tones that photography nicely. Being Dallas, the weather is mild in fall and spring offering temperatures that will create a comfortable photography session. I would avoid photo sessions in the middle of the summer. The next option would be December. It can be a surprisingly temperate month as well! Regarding the season, I have a list of location options that work nicely with each time of the year. View a list of preferred locations.
