Fort Worth Newborn Photographer: A studio extended family portrait session welcoming baby “Link”.

Traditions have a way of uniting people and families. Through the past five years, I’ve had the immense pleasure of photographing extended family sessions for this precious group. Within five years this sweet family has welcomed six babies! What a wonderful time of renewal and joy. It is truly a gift to photograph these families over the years. I’ve had a special bond with the matriarch of the family. We used to be classroom teachers together. She was a mentor for me, and I remember when her daughters (who are now mothers) were in middle and high school! How time flies, and I am so appreciative that my friendship has endured in this special way! Little did I know when I sat in a job interview almost twenty years ago, I would develop a close bond with my teaching colleague!

Fort Worth Newborn: Welcome little man Link!

After an icy week in January, the weather cleared, ice melted, and while still a brisk temperature, we managed to meet at Fort Worth natural light photo studio off College Avenue near the TCU campus. It’s such a lovely light and airy studio for newborn and family photography. The large windows allow beautiful diffused light to stream into the building creating soft lighting perfect for portraits.

Big Brothers Ready to Show the Way

Proud older brothers are 13 months apart in age, and oh were they so excited to take pictures with their little bro! So eager to include baby! High energy, giggles, and a little rough housing didn’t phase baby brother one bit!

Lumen Room Natural Light Studio in the Heart of Fort Worth.

I’ve used Lumen Room at College Avenue for the past six years! It’s located near downtown Fort Worth and within walking distance to TCU buildings. The spacious studio is comfortable with a private bathroom, moveable furniture, and best of all- ample windows!

Multi-Generations Share a Special Bond: Cousin crew welcomes little one.

We captured some really special moments when cousins snuggled their new family member. Nona, was surrounded with giggles and gentle nudges to hold baby next! They couldn’t get enough!

Family Portraits: Laughs, wiggles, and in between!
