I met Brooklyne and Owen at Grapevine Botanic Gardens just before sunset during golden hour. I was excited to get to know them better as I’ll photograph their wedding in early 2027 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Keller. The two were off for spring break from Benedictine College in Kansas, where they met each other. They wanted to meet at Grapevine Botanic Gardens for their engagement photo session.

Grapevine Botanic Gardens are Beautiful for Every Season.

I’m always impressed with how well the Grapevine gardens are maintained through the seasons. Seasonal ornamental plants grow throughout the year. Walking paths are towered by tree canopies offering a shady reprieve. Children run and play, couples picnic on a blanket, and families enjoy the scenery as their children explore. Main Street Grapevine

A few blocks away, Historic Main Street Grapevine, offers shops and restaurants to enthuse many interests and palates. It’s a perfect treat to celebrate a fun portrait session. Yes, it’s my goal for photos to be fun! When the session is concluding, the best compliment is always when the man says, “Wow, that wasn’t bad at all!” Yay, goal accomplished.
